ARTIST & RENDITIONS

Project Objectives:

§Research 3 photographers who’s images you like

§1 present day photograph(working now!!!)

§1 photographer between 1950-1980

§1 photographer from before 1940

§Create a PowerPoint or GoogleDrive Presentation

§Include 15 photographs of each photographers’(45 TOTAL)

1.    Research the following information for each photographer:

§  Name

§  Date of Birth

§  Where are they from?

§  What photo equipment do they use?

2.    Research what the photographers motivation or reason why behind their photographs? Why do they take photos? Why do they photograph what they photograph?

3.    In your OWN words, describe each photographers’ work. Talk about the characteristics of their art. (3-4 sentences)

4.    What do you like MOST about this artist’s work?

5.    If you were able to meet this artist, what are TWO questions you would ask him/her?

6.    Please include the websites that you’ve used for information: must site work!

****Suggested that you copy cat/recreate 3 of the photographers photographs unless you are constructing a complicated scene that will take a lot of time

·         Take 10 or more photographs like each of your photographers

Photo edits complete and 3 recreates added to Power Point side by side with original by Friday 4-10
